2D Composition Project
The below project are stills from the 2D composition I had to put together to create an opening sequence for a dramatic animation project. I used Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro to achieve the results you see below and the final animation ended up being around 30 seconds long.
Frame 1 of my Animation Depicting the entrance of the Voodoo house with a super close up of the sign 'Come on In' where audio of a swinging sign will be heard.
Frame 2 will fly through the window of the house and will zoom in closer to the table showing an overview of all the objects that will be shot closer up later on ( voodoo chanting can be heard at this point).
Frame 3 is a super close up of the Voodoo masks hanging on the wall and will be panning from left to right to have an overall scan of movement carrying on the piece.
Frame 4 is a super close up of a sewing machine which will is turning and the sewing reel is also moving and getting smaller whilst old sewing machine audio can be heard faintly in the background all of these layers of audio building up a right environment of sound.
Frame 5 is a left to right pan of the contents of the desk ( one-half of it ) showing jars filled with various objects for Wicca and to construct the voodoo doll as well as books and glass tubes etc.
Frame 6 will show the second half of this frame rotating around a glass jar of hearts and pieces of dried plants and other sinister things to tell the story.
Frame 7 goes to another super close shot which will show scissors cutting through fabrics revealing the blood stained wood underneath whilst the sound of scissors can be faintly heard.
Frame 8 will be a pan from bottom to top other voodoo doll lying in a box full of tools whilst an old fire crackling in the background.
The final image (Frame 9) will be used as a layover as it will zoom out to reveal a bloody handprint on a wooden table and the end credits scene will be laid over to depict the title of the TV Show ' Big Mammas Voodoo House'
